As everyone in the midwest knows, our weather can be very unpredictable. One day it might be sunny and warm, the next day we might have power outage causing thunderstorms. Usually when one of these storms hit aquarists struggle to find ways to keep their livestock alive. Some of us are lucky enough to have a generator or some other back up plan, but there are those that don't. Those that don't have a back-up plan can suffer huge losses that can be expensive, difficult and sometimes impossible to recover from, especially in the case of the rare fish keepers. With that in mind I saw a news story about a lfs in the Chicago area called Midwest Coral Farms helping out local aquarists after some extended power outages that I thought I would share. Check out the local video footage taken by local news station, Fox Chicago News:
Hats off to Midwest Coral Farm for helping out their customers!
