Was looking in my tank tonight with a flash light and seen all these larvae swimming around . Just collected the clown fish larvae last night so not to sure what they are . I suspect they are emerald crab larvae because that's the only thing I can think of in there that may be spawning. If that is what they are I no they go through different stages and are tough to rear I collected as many as I could the same way I collect me clown fry and got about 100 of them . I haven't done any research yet but anyone ever here of anyone rearing these guys or what they may eat ? I through in some rotifers and some roti feast just in case here's the best pic I could get

Well I've done a ton of research on raising crab larvae and came across a article where a guy success bread  Mithraculus forceps also know as ruby crab or red emerald crab with is almost identical to mithraculus sculptis (emerald crab). So I'm gonna see if I learned anything from reading this guy's journal doesn't seem to hard larvae stage is about 9 days I haven't lost but a few of the larvae and they are developing a little color we shall see.

Updates?
A sense of passion is what first drives most hobbyists to raise these fishes... I believe that curiosity is a tremendous motivator, as is doing something that most people still think is impossible.

Wanst able to get the past day 7 kind of a bummer the was acouple people who successfully did it on mbi. I haven't collected another clutch cause I'm not sure when there pregnant or when they release the fry from what I've read the done with meta around day 10 or 12 so I I guess I was just short. I'm not to use if they even eat anything til the done with meta but I may be wrong all I had to feed was rotifers tried so nauplii and some rgcomplete. I think I t was do to me slacking on changing the water everyday I was working 50 to 60 hrs a week and had several fry tanks and rotifers cultures going I check my tank at night ever now and then to see of there any fry swimming around no luck yet . I wish I could of grew them out would a been pretty cool
