Saw him at the shop, he looked great! I've always wanted to try some species of jawfish, but have been apprehensive of putting with them a pistol shrimp and goby in a smaller reef.

We're going to need some video of this feeding frenzy!

I have the Jawfish in the same tank as the Goby and Pistol pair, I'll be sure to post if that doesn't go well someday

I'll see about a video - the yellow blur with be the Blue Spot chasing after food and quickly returning to its burrow

Just saw something new and unexpected :woohoo:

I'm wondering of my Blue Spot Jawfish and Candy Basslet are becoming BFF's... I was just came down to check on the tank aND watched my Candy Basslet swim onto and out of my Blue Spots burrow. The Blue Spot just recently made a second exit/entrance, so maybe it's possible the Blue Spot didn't notice the "pop-in" visitor... It's been my experience with Jawfish that they're not terribly keen on visitors.

BFF's? :silly:

I suspect it's curiosity. I have a few fish that love checking out my diamond goby burrows, though I am convinced at least one of my wrasses does it just because she wants to be an ass. ;-)
