Not the best picture and the glass is really dirty, but my new Zebra Moray Eel is acclimating well while in the holding tank. I'm trying to fatten him up before releasing into the main display. He seems to be a lot more comfortable with the pvc pipe I put together.

Got the Eel moved over to the main tank. He's been really checking the place out the last couple hours.

It's awesome you have the chops to do this! I always enjoy seeing pictures of these fish in a reef, sort of a hybrid nastalga for me as I was attracted to these fish 20 years ago when I had my first fish tank :side:

Not too much to update on. I've been treating this tank as a "grow out tank" for the fish. My goal is to have some good size fish in a big tank once we move.

Current livestock:

Dussumier Tang
Naso Tang
Yellow Tang
Sailfin Tang
Orange Spot Rabbitfish
Radiata Lionfish
Blue Jaw Triggerfish
Picasso Triggerfish
Undulate Triggerfish
Ocellaris Clownfish Pair
Yellowtail Coris Wrasse
Columbian Shark Pair
Snowflake Eel
Spanish Hogfish
One Spot Foxface

Update:
My stock list is still the same from 10 weeks ago with the addition of a Pink Tail Triggerfish that was recently added from QT. All fish are still doing great together with the exception of the Colombian Sharks. They have been getting nipped fins by the Snowflake Eel.

As you can see, my bioload is getting pretty high. I've got about 375 gallons total water volume and been dosing vinegar but I haven't been staying on top of water changes. Water quality isn't terrible but could be better.

First water change in about 8 months. Hopefully I can stay on top of things from now on. I still have all the same fish with no new additions. Not planning on adding anything else. I may take a few fish out to put in my other tank though.

The zebra eel found an escape hole a while ago. Did great for several months before that except for knocking down my rock structures. Would consider another one if I could make the tank completely escape proof.(clamps holding down full lids with a few locks, and maybe a few cement blocks on top of that) I'm still not sure how it got out on the first place.
