Need to trim back anthillia...Need Help!

12

Hello all!

I need to trim back some anthillia that has overgrown. What is the best way to do this?
Thanks in advanced for the help!
Joe

I'm sure Skipper will chime in here shortly, Anthelia is his favorite :silly:

Ah anthelia... All I ended up doing was peeling it off at the base. Try not to rip it or it will just come right back.

lol...I know It started from one stalk and got out of control quickly. I can take the rock out of the tank to trim; if that will help?

What did you use to pull it off the rock?

I used one of those kent scrapers.

Just need to peel up a corner, and you can tear it off in small pieces. Have fun, a bucket of that isnt the most pleasant smelling thing!:woohoo:

O yea, I hate that stuff πŸ‘Ώ ! I've been trying to get rid of mine for well over a year. I've found if you can get under it you can peel it off fairly easy. The bad thing is it does grow back and it can take over everything. I used a pampered chef plate scraper (another item pilfered from the kitchen πŸ˜† ).

Maybe I should just try to get rid of it! Thanks!

Ya, I'll never get anthelia again. It gets ridiculously out of control. I liked it, but not in those amounts!
