I'm new to this but I'm planning on going with a sump and fuge with a skimmer. I will probably build the sump. I've watched a ton of videos and will surely ask for some advise when I get to that part.
I went through Steve's 300 DD build and really like the 3 tank water change system he put together. I will definitely be talking to him about the plumbing in that.
