Jebao Wavemakers

12

Anyone currently using one of these?

New Jebao Twin Linkage Controller: for WP-10, WP-25, WP-40, or WP-60

I just got two of these controllers in. They are basically a hybrid between the original Jebao Controller and a Hydor Koralia Wavemaker. It is a dual controller to control two Jebao pumps and can run them on anti-sync mode. It also allows better control of each pump individually. You can adjust the flow from 30%-100% in 10% increments instead of limited to choosing 50% or 75% or 100%. The speed of the wave can be adjusted with a variable speed knob and the switching of the pumps in anti-synch mode can be adjusted from 1 second to 2 minutes with a variable speed knob also.

As soon as we get the pumps in from the group buy I will try these controllers out and give my feedback but I love all of the advertised features of it.

Thats really cool. I've been having a hard time deciding between a mp10 or a jebao. I like the vortech's, but they have a high price tag.....and the jebao's look like a tunze and are waaaaay cheaper. both have great features, but I just cant figure out what to do? I'll be excited to hear what you have to say!

I love my punk I have heard from two ppl they love the controller also

I have a mp40, mp 10, korellia 750 and jebo25.
I like each for different reasons. Vortech for power control and wave options, jebo for powerful waves and korellia for cost.
With this controller i think the jebo might have won in my mind.

I had read about this wavemaker and was very interested in using it with my jeboas. Thanks for adding a picture, I had yet to see it. Did you also get the additional power supplies that are need to use it? (At least from what I read I think you need a different power supply). I bought additional ones from Fish street when I first ordered my Jebao wp 40s, and have yet to use them, but if they are the same ones then it will be a cheap addition to buy the controller only.

I did get the upgraded power supply as they say the original adapter will have issues powering both units. The power supply they sent me just turned out to be a universal ac adapter but should work just fine. It is $20 for just the controller or $35 including the power supply. Shipping is not included in the price.

That's a cheap price to thanks a lot I know there's a lot of interest in these pumps right now abd this will add to it..

I would maybe consider an MP10 on a small tank because they don't take up much space inside the tank, but the big pumps I just can't justify spending the extra money. Two MP60's would cost $1350, or you could get two WP60's with the upgraded controller for $234.50 including shipping.

Well said I agree overpriced and under power verses the wp

I bought two Jebao 40's for my reef build and plan on getting their DC-9000 series return pump. Both have controller's.
