Interesting toadstool development...

Is this a common thing for a Toadstool coral to do?

The bases are all somehow connected, but there appears to be four separate "arms" now

Yes I have seen that before when I had my green toad stool out was starting to split also it's very neat

what line? at the base of each tube? I'm starting to wonder if it's dying off, because it hasn't opened up at all today.

Cut the base and top into parts as if each arm was its own. Like a cookie baking into each other.
